AFSCME members pushed Congress hard to fund the Substance Use Disorder Treatment Workforce Loan Repayment Program, which is aimed at helping lessen the burden of crushing student loans for full-time workers who treat or support patients with substance-use disorders.

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.

Join us for our union's annual Legislative Lobby Day at the State Capitol and Legislative Office Building in Hartford, CT.

We will hear from legislators about key issues in the 2020 session and also have an opportunity to do our own grass roots lobbying.

This event is free and open to Council 4 members in good standing. Lunch will be provided. There is limited free parking in the Legislative Office Building garage.

Council 4 Training: Running An Effective Union Meeting

This training will help Local Union officers run membership meetings effectively and in accordance with Robert's Rules of Order.

Morning refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.

There is no charge for this training.
