Lt. Gallup's "Keep Calm & Fight On" Flag Football Fundraiser

Members of the New Britain Police Department, represented by AFSCME Local 1165, are joining with members of the Bristol Police Department to sponsor a Flag Football Fundraiser to support New Britain Police Lt. Julia Gallup in her battle against breast cancer.

The New Britain and Bristol Police Departments will compete in a game of Flag Football. The event is being organized by New Britain Police Lt. Ben Murphy and Bristiol Police Officer Chris Bird. Gates open at 10:45 a.m.

Admission is $10. All proceeds will go to support the Gallup family as they cover expenses associated with Julia's treatment. (Julia's husband is a Bristol Police Officer.)

If you who want to donate but can’t attend the game, you can send a check made out to New Britain’s Finest vs. Bristol's Bravest. Those checks can be mailed to the Gallup Family Fundraiser c/o Lt. Ben Murphy at New Britain Police, 10 Chestnut St., New Britain 06051.
