The AFSCME Council 4 Civil Rights Committee is hosting a "Soul Food Summer Drive-In" movie series outside Council 4 headquarters in New Britain.

On Aug. 28, the featured movie will be "The 13th."  Directed by Ava DuVernay, this documentary explores the intersection of race, justice, and mass incarceration in the United States.

The Civil Rights Committee Movie Night is for Council 4 members and family only.

Suggested arrival time is 8:00 p.m. Screening will start at 8:30 p.m.

You can bring a lawn chair or view the movie from your car. Be sure to bring your face mask and practice social distancing.
