Governor Lamont's proposed budget has failed to meet the urgency of this moment.

There are more people out of work now than during the Great Recession. Thousands of people have lost health care because they have lost their jobs through no fault of their own. And there are unprecedented lines for food assistance at Rentschler FieldFoxwoods, and many other cities and towns across the state.

But Gov. Lamont failed to invest in the programs that are needed for a full economic recovery shared by everyone.

Join union and community members impacted by this pandemic and recession and demand a budget that puts us first!

The labor movement is joining the efforts of the Recovery for All Coalition, which is comprised of community, faith and labor organizations. Our focus is on reducing income inequality by progressively redistributing tax burdens, making historic investments in education and workforce development, and building a strong economy where everyone in the state can thrive.

Please join us on Saturday, Feb. 20, at 11:30 a.m. to fight for a budget that works for everyone, not just the wealthy.
