Welcome to AFSCME Clerical Local 318. 

Local 318 is one of eight statewide locals who represent over 6,000 clerical employees working in the State of Connecticut Administrative Clerical Bargaining Unit (NP-3). Local 318 represents approximately 780 of these members in the towns of Wethersfield, Middletown, Haddam, and Rocky Hill.

Our members work at the The Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services, DPS State Police Hdqtrs, Department of Correction Central Office, Department of Children and Families (DCF), Department of Labor, Department of Social Services (DSS), The Lottery, Middlesex Community College, The State Library, Department of Education, and Motor Vehicles (DMV).
