August 28: Special Meeting To Vote on Constitutional Changes

In accordance with Article V, section 4 and Article XI, Section 1 of the AFSCME Local 1303 Constitution, a special meeting is being called for Wednesday, August 28, 2019  at 6p.m. at Council 4 headquarters, 444 East Main Street New Britain, CT 06051.

The purpose of the meeting is to ratify proposed changes to the AFSCME Local 1303 Constitution.

In accordance with Article XI, Section 1, you may vote on such proposed change at a chapter meeting. If you decide to do this, then please email [email protected] to let us know. This is only for the ratification vote. Results of the vote must be emailed to us prior to 6 PM on August 28, 2019. Please include the numerical votes.

Oct. 19: Local 1303 Annual Meeting

In accordance with Article VII of our Constitution, the Local 1303 Annual Meeting is being called for Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Council 4 headquarters, 444 East Main Street New Britain, CT, 06051. It will take place in the downstairs meeting room.

The purpose of such is to elect the Local 1303 Executive Board (President, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer and Recording Secretary, and 5 Executive Board members; and to elect a minimum of 10 Delegates to AFSCME Council 4 and AFSCME International Delegate Bodies.
