Council 4 established its very own Labor Education Institute in 1999. Our mission is to provide educational programs to our members, leaders, and staff. These programs are intended to foster creative and critical thinking among working adults, to empower workers and give them a stronger voice in the workplace. The Local Union Leadership Academy (LULA) is a two-day education program intended for Local Union Executive Boards. If a Local Union Executive Board were to participate, at least 75% of the executive board members must commit to attending the two-day program.
